Status:

Stigmella multispicata Rocienė & Stonis, previously known from the Holotype from Russia, Primorye, is reported as a new invasive species mining leaves of Siberian elm, Ulmus pumila, in eastern North America. ... Currently the species is known from USA: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Canada: Ontario” (van Nieukerken et al., 2018).

Relationships:

Larvae are leaf miners of Siberian Elm.
