Description:

Initially white and cottony, then yellow to yellow-brown; eventually brownish perithecia form a bumpy texture. Does not react to KOH (potassium hydroxide) (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Relationships:

Parasitic on boletes (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
