From BugGuide: "It is difficult to differentiate the 3 species of Admestina without looking at the genitalia. Usually though a guess can be made based on the location.
• A. wheeleri is found the furthest north: New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Canada.
• A. archboldi is found the furthest south: Florida, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana.
• A. tibialis is found in between: from New England to Florida."
However, Chad Heins (BugGuide) notes that many distribution maps for these species are incomplete or imperfect.
There are 2 records in the project database.
