Blue Bottle Fly Calliphora vomitoria (Linnaeus, 1758)  


BugGuide: "Calliphora vicina (Blue Blowfly) and Calliphora vomitoria (Blue Bottle Fly) may be distinguished from each other by the presence of yellow-orange jowls with black hair in C. vicina and black jowls with predominantly reddish hair in C. vomitoria" (Wall and Shearer, 1997).
