An Ochlerotatus fulvus pallens collected in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland (8/16/2018). This rare southern stray has only been collected in Maryland a couple of times. This large yellow mosquito sports a pair of black spots on the top of its thorax. There is no other species of mosquito with which this species could be confused. Photo by Josh Emm. (MBP list)
