Maryland has two records of this amazing vagrant hummingbird species from October 2011 - Cecil Co. from 10/10 to 10/12 (#2011-388) and Howard Co. from 10/24 to 10/26 (#2011-393). These dates obviously invite speculation about whether it was the same bird.

There are 12 records in the project database.
