Maryland has one accepted record of Red-necked Stint: West Ocean City Pond, Worcester Co. on 8/19/1995 (#1997-372). Another report, an adult in breeding plumage on Skimmer Island (8/4/2007), found by Sean McCandless, is widely regarded as valid and in recirculation by MD/DCRC.
