Description:

Birch Polypore is a shelf fungus that grows on birch wood. The cap is smooth, rounded, and pale brown or gray with a rolled margin. The pore surface is flat with small pores. In old specimens, the pore edges become jagged.

Relationships:

Growing on birch trees (Betula).
