Status

This undescribed birch leaf miner moth is thought to be a member of the S. betulicola species-group. The caterpillar creates a linear mine that begins on the lower surface of a birch leaf and expands it to a full-depth mine (Eiseman, 2021: 1127).

Relationships

Larval host plants include birch (Eiseman, 2021).
