Rocky Gap State Park
Rocky Gap State Park is a popular 3,000-acre park in western Maryland. Its diverse habitats are punctuated by man-made Lake Habeeb and the striking backdrop of Evitt's Mountain. Maryland Biodiversity Project is proud to partner with Rocky Gap State Park in documenting and conserving its impressive variety of flora and fauna.
Our first major BioBlitz of Rocky Gap SP was conducted over the weekend of June 27, 2015. We are currently compiling BioBlitz data and will soon begin actively mining and ingesting historical data for the park.
