White-faced Micropanther Cerotainia albipilosa Curran, 1930

Status:

Basically identical to C. macrocera, but with substantial amount of white pile. Eric Fisher's comment on BugGuide regarding the genus can be found here. According to his comment, there has been no published investigation on whether this species and macrocera are distinct species, and they may be color variants.
