Description:

Cap: Whitish with pale yellow center to overall pale yellow in age; convex with low umbo to flat; smooth, viscid when fresh; often with veil fragments along margin. Gills: Whitish, to gray-brown, then purple-black; close. Stalk: Whitish/yellowish; tapers up; fragile white ring radially striate above; white basal mycelium with long white rhizomorphs (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Scattered in grassy areas (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
