Description:

Cup: Fertile surface tan / gray-brown, smooth to slightly dimpled with inrolled margin; outer surface grayish-white, finely downy. Stalk: Grayish-white, flares at cap, ribs extend only slightly onto cap (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Solitary or groups on ground in pine and hardwood forests.
